I am safely home again, and so is timprov. We are very tired, and at least a little bit merry when we can manage it, and we left fruit behind us, so I suppose Edna St. Vincent Millay is not in my head completely inappropriately.

The flight from Montreal to Detroit and the flight from Detroit home were pretty turbulent and frankly not much fun. But we made it.

I'm not sure which would be worse on the vertigo, actually. I remember sleeping on a train on a ferry, going from Stockholm to Copenhagen when I was little, and it was not the most restful sleep of my life.
