Grandpa, better, story.

I have had a hard time determining which information about my grandpa to post here, since he deserves medical privacy, but on the other hand people who are concerned will want to know how things are going. So: he is still in the hospital and will not get out tomorrow (he asked), but he's definitely doing better and is out of the ICU.

As for me, I am still recovering from the increased vertigo from the trip, and I'm still trying to catch up on sleep and work and everything else. Yesterday I woke up in a mediocre mood and the news I got was mediocre on several fronts. Today I woke up in a good mood and the news I have gotten so far is good. I don't think this is a matter of interpretation, either. I think this morning is just a better morning than I had yesterday.

Still full of Stuff To Do, and writing the beginning of "House of Slain Messengers" was not what I was supposed to be doing with it. But I have hit voice with it, so if I get voice down now, I can do it now or later. Preferably later, as there is other stuff I think I should be doing now.
