I really liked Minister Faust's first two novels, and today I read that his third novel, The Alchemists of Kush, has come out as an e-book. Excellent! But wait! There's more. If you go buy one today, he will give money to the textbook fund of a Sudanese University if he makes the Kindle Top 100. Hard to beat that with a stick.

He also has three short story e-books, which I added to my wish list and which might be of additional interest to some of you. But seriously, good writer, giving to develop a country that can benefit by it, only $3 cost to you! How could I not tell you about this.

OK.

*Rushes like a lemming to Amazon*

What the heck; the combination of your rec, the glowing reviews at Amazon, an interesting premise, and a donation to a good cause - I'd spare more than $2.99 for that. (But for those who have Kindles and are short on disposable income, do note: it is only $2.99.)

Do I need to read the first two, or are they standalone books?
