Okay, so: what specific, concrete thing do you want more of?

That is to say, not time, not money, not fame, not attention, not love.

But something that you could kick, or almost. Something that someone else could maybe read your comment and say, "Actually, I know who's making that," and point you at it.

So, you might want more cinnamon rolls that aren't totally smothered in sugary frosting. Or you might want more science fiction novels in which there could not conceivably be anybody with a gun on the cover. Or you might want more dark blue cotton shirts for long-torsoed men. More toys for young-grade-school age kids who are interested in science, packaging gender-neutral. What one thing do you want more of on a Friday afternoon, off the top of your head? Go.

More fun, flattering, sensual, affordable, washable clothes for plus-sized women that don't make my still-poochy-2-years-later belly look actively pregnant.

More reasonably well-fitting women's pants that don't have pockets so small that my wallet falls out whenever I sit down.

More public places that don't pipe in background noise and especially background images by default. Fewer public places that use television as background white noise and give you blank looks and say things like "I don't really hear it" when you try to explain that a love of this particular flavor of white noise--and of television in general--is not so universal as those who appreciate it assume.

More clothes for plus-size women whose hips are not 10-12" larger, nay not even 6" larger, than their waist. Even when I wasn't plus size, I had this problem: if you outline my body head-on, it's pretty much a straight line from my armpits to my thighs. My mother, who was downright skinny much of her life, had the same lack-of-waistline.

More 100% cotton socks in pretty colors, especially dark green. I found a site online and bought turquoise, and purple, and fushia, but they were only 60% cotton, but no dark green.

And a reliable plumber who doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Or a good handyman ditto.

Soundtracks (or other soundtrack-type things, which is to say largely instrumental music) that sound Japanese, in their instrumentation/melodic motifs/etc.

I've got a bunch of Yoshida Brothers, and the Balance CD that Solace did, and some traditional taiko and koto music (separately, not together), and the scores for Ballad and The Last Samurai and Shogun and Memoirs of a Geisha and Ôoku, not to mention a lot of music that's more Chinese or generically Asian. But for a variety of reasons, I find myself with a very large need for this kind of thing at the moment, which means I'd be grateful for any additional suggestions.

Dunno if they'll pass on the breast front, but the long-sleeved shirts I ordered recently from Land's End come to halfway down my hands.

More gender-neutral or gender-inclusive parenting discussion forums / clubs / meetings / etc. There is a terrifying emphasis on mommy.

More free local outdoor theater and music performances (actually, it's summer now, I am about to get plenty, but this has usefully reminded me to go looking).

More (any) nursing tops designed for people with large breasts. Ones designed for standard fit models don't work.

I have the Onimusha video game soundtrack, which they apparently hired a well-known composer to create. Probably worth a listen to see if it would of any use to you.

More long kind of witchy-looking skirts in neutralish colors, or just plain long skirts that don't look boring or matronly.

More chocolate milk. Oh hey, I can make that happen!

Caffeinated grape and/or orange soda.

Caffeinated grape and/or orange soda sweetened with the stuff they use in the "zero" sodas rather than regular diet pop, which has come to taste like lithium battery rust to me after more than a few sips.

Have you read the suffrage era list of why women should not have pockets that is supposed to really be about the right to vote? It's hilarious except for the fact that a hundred years later we still don't have pockets.

I've looked at Maggie's already. That isn't green, it's olive drab, IMHO. I want the color crayola calls green, or dark green, or pine green. I only have one pair left, which I bought at Lands End many years ago.

I may have to get some dye and do it myself.
