Yeah. That.

Managed to eat three raviolis at dinner. They were not large raviolis.

Am unreasonably tired at 8:45 p.m. Must concentrate to move hand from keyboard to mouse and vice versa. Effort of keeping hands on keyboard noticeable.

Have wrapped myself in flannel and fuzzy slippers. Will go read War Game and hope for it to get better rather than worse, "24-hour bug" rather than "several days of virus." I have places to go, people to see, things to do, gifts to give.

I'm somehow convinced that all the presents that have waited this long are horrible and will be hated by their recipients. Probably part of my general good cheer of the moment.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] markgritter and I want to be able to hand out medals to people for being Heroes of the Revolution. We would prefer them to be foil-wrapped chocolate if at all possible, so people could have Hero of the Revolution medals with bites out of them. And some with nuts and maybe some with caramel, because the nuts seem appropriate, and because we like caramel. Surely there must be somewhere on the internet that sells such things?

Which revolution do I need to be a hero of to earn such a reward? It sounds lovely, so I'd hate to miss out.

Feel better soon.

Well...would one get to remove the foil before taking a bite?

And, I hope you feel better soon!

Yes, one would remove the foil! And wrap it around the bitten end, just like one does with other bits of chocolate one doesn't want to snarf all at once.

I realize not everyone has the concept of "chocolate one doesn't want to snarf all at once" in their private languages.

Chocolate I don't *want* to snarf all at once, yes. Chocolate I *won't* snarf all at once, not so much.

I hope this question isn't totally off-base, but did you happen to have a penpal by the name of Deborah many years ago?

I believe so, yes. Was it you? I got penpals from (blush) the Mercedes Lackey and Melanie Rawn newsletters when I was 12-14. My first exposure to fandom. Contributed to what parts of my sanity were salvaged from high school.

Yes, it was me! I came across your journal by a circuitous path and did a double-take when I saw your name. I think you were my longest-kept penpal found through ML's newsletter/fanclub.

And published now! That's just brilliant.

Any objections to me friending you?

Of course no objections! I am a very friend-ly person.

The internet is such a nifty thing.
