mrissa: (reading)
The problem with reading Scottish history is that I know too many Scottish historical songs, both Jacobite and anti-Jacobite. So I end up driving myself mad humming them. (Say nothing of the people around me.) [livejournal.com profile] mattgritter got me going on "Finlandia" for awhile yesterday, and that helped, and I even managed to get going on "Rave On" (Buddy Holly loff!) a bit. But last night, my dreams were threaded through with "Twa Bonnie Maidens," and I expect more of the same today.

Harumph.

I feel sure that the world -- even the friendslist -- has worse problems hanging around. Still and all. "And you're dearly welcome to YARRRRRRG again!" is not really how that song goes.

You are welcome to YARRRRG, though. Any time you like, you may YARRRRG in the comments to this entry. It will be my Official YARRRRRGing Ground. Usually I am a YARRRG source, but this time I will be a YARRRRG sink.

Okay, I'm going to get to packing suitcases before I go any further into thermodynamics or electronics here.
