I'm feeling chattery.
What I am not feeling is focused and chattery.
Unless you've read the first ten chapters of Thermionic Night, which you haven't, and no you're not allowed yet. Then I could chatter on about whether Eija needs to be mentioned already and Tyyne introduced or not. But I can't.
So what do you want to talk about aside from that?
I got up at 4:55. I have passed through the back-to-bed stage (WOOO!) and the bleary-eyed mumbly stage. I am now in the unnaturally-bright-eyed stage. This is the mood in which I start channeling Jordan from "Real Genius." Consider that a promise or a warning, as you like.

"No I'm not I'm disappointed, not horribly but still. It should have gone much further, much faster!...."

Date: 2004-10-25 12:15 pm (UTC)I'm glad you like surprises in the garden. My surprises were mostly garlic mustard (noxious weed!) and the Hungarian peppers coming out all wrong. But I'm not a Garden Person, so I don't earn as many surprises.

Date: 2004-10-25 03:58 pm (UTC)My single greatest garden surprise of that sort was probably motherwort. I thought it might be delphinium and let it grow. It's quite pretty and all, native, possessed of genuine medical properties. But it gives both Lydy and me a rash, and its seedpods are very very stickery and painful, and it is a mint, which means that it spreads like mad.
